Top Game Players Choose Between a Brand New Vehicle or Significant Cash Prize Every Month; Charity Donation Fulfills The Fast Track's Mission to Provide Both Entertainment and Service to the Community BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 16
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fast Track
(http://livethefasttrack.com/), a new online casual game company helping
people live the fast track, is celebrating their launch by giving away their
first grand prize of $25,000 to Sarah Francies Quick, 49, of Los Angeles.
Quick, a mother and physical trainer, finished atop the leader board of
RevVit, a skill-based online game that challenges players to dodge moving
pieces for the longest possible time span.
Along with the grand prize to Quick, The Fast Track is donating $5,000 to
Operation Homefront (http://www.operationhomefront.net), which provides
emergency assistance to the families of service men and women. Every month, a
new deserving non-profit organization will be chosen to receive a donation
generated from the proceeds of http://www.livethefasttrack.com.
For the month of August, the Fast Track has selected the Children's
Hospital Los Angeles (http://www.childrenshospitalla.org), which has been
treating the most seriously ill and injured children in Los Angeles for more
than a century, and is acknowledged throughout the United States and around
the world for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health.
The Fast Track was formed by three entrepreneurial friends all under the
age of 24 who share a common passion of cars, gaming and philanthropy.
The game player atop the leader board on August 14 will choose between
$35,000 in cash or a Porsche Boxster. Besides the top prize awarded, the
second and third place winners of RevVit, titled for the goal of helping
people accelerate their dreams, will take home $1,000 and $500 in cash.
Additional winners will receive gas vouchers and other prizes.
Quick chose $25,000 instead of a brand new 2008 Mercedes C-300 because she
needed the cash more than ever. "I was struggling to find a way to pay for my
son's college tuition when he told me about the simple game. I participated
more for entertainment than anything -- I didn't think I had a chance to win
as I'm not a big game player," said Sarah Francies Quick. "In the current
economy, we can all use a pick-me-up, and Live the Fast Track has granted me a
fabulous opportunity to help my son."
Fast Track endeavors to create simple, and quick, opportunities for people
to fulfill their dreams while playing one of the most popular pastimes
-- casual games. As reported by the Casual Games Association, more than 200
million people worldwide play casual games.
"The mission of The Fast Track is simple -- to assist individuals in
living the fast track," said CEO Yeoman Nursalim. "We are thrilled to give
away our first grand prize, and look forward to many more monthly winners.
Being able to provide support to non-profit organizations in need fulfills our
team's goals to provide both entertainment and a worthwhile service."
Games and cost to play vary depending on the prize, but this month to play
RevVit, users pay $1 per game, $7.50 for 10 games or $14 for 20 games.
Because of the car prize, players must be at least 16 years of age or older
with a valid driver's license.
Note: Residents in the following states are not eligible to win
-- Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi,
Nevada, Rhode Island and South Dakota.
