CASSELBERRY, FL -- 10/15/08 -- Legends Business Group (OTCBB: LGBS) announced today that it has signed on as a proud sponsor of the Walt Disney World Half Marathon "Team in Training" program in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the fight against blood cancers. As part of the "Team in Training" program Legends has joined the fight to raise money to cure blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

The "Team in Training" program provides participants with professional coaching and training for the world's major marathons, half marathons, triathlons or century (100-mile) bike rides. The Marathon will be held January 11, 2009 at The Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando, Florida. The course itself is set to run throughout all four Disney Theme parks, starting and ending in Epcot Center.

Larry Powalisz, President and CEO of Legends Business Group, has pledged $2,500 for each of Legend's four participants, for a starting contribution of $10,000. Those wishing to do so may pledge contributions at www. LLS.org. Legends team members include Larry Powalisz, his wife, Fernanda Powalisz, and two business associates.

"The challenges of our daily lives can often seem so immense that we tend to forget the frustrations of people around us. We need to remember we all come up against tough times in some form or another. Focusing on how difficult our own lives have become can be draining. One of the best ways to preserve our happiness is to help others experience it. One's own life can be deeply enriched by supporting or doing something for someone else. What better gift can we give someone than their health?" said Fernanda Powalisz.

Larry Powalisz added, "In spite of our current political and economic times, our business model has proven sound. We could not be happier to share our good fortunes with an organization and their people who work to improve and enrich the lives of such a broad spectrum of society without prejudice."

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research. The Society is committed to providing support and guidance to patients and the health professionals who care for them. Since 1988, over 360,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $850 million.
