SEATTLE - (Business Wire) Frontier GeoSciences, a nationally recognized environmental analytical laboratory, recently announced it has been awarded yet another accreditation from the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP). NELAP is considered one of the United States most stringent and progressive programs for setting the highest standards that an environmental analytical laboratory can achieve. Believed to be the first NELAP accreditation for this mercury emissions analysis method, this is just one more example of Frontiers commitment to leading the industry in mercury and trace metals analysis and research.

With over 16 years at the helm of mercury emissions analysis and research, Frontier GeoSciences designed and popularized one of the industrys most accurate air and mercury emissions testing methods. The principles of these innovative, accurate and cost-effective methods are now embodied in several EPA methods which are now being used widely throughout the United States. The advent of these methods has provided industry a cost-effective approach for accurately measuring mercury emissions and has also been used to help evaluate and research processes and systems designed to control mercury emissions.

According to Bob Brunette, a principal with Frontier GeoSciences, Our NELAP accreditation is yet another example of Frontiers leading position, focus and commitment to providing our industry clients with the most precise, accurate and cost-effective methods for measuring mercury emissions. With new regulations being enacted on a state and national level regarding mercury emissions, Frontier GeoSciences actively assists corporations and governments focused on being in compliance with regulations and good stewards of our environment.

A popular speaker on issues relating to air emissions, Bob Brunette was quick to note, We are thrilled to be working with some of the most progressive industries and corporations going the extra mile to make the world a cleaner place.

In addition to developing methods for measuring mercury emissions, Frontier GeoSciences played a critical role in developing and even co-authored the now widely used sampling and analytical methods for trace element measurements in the environment, making it a foremost expert in this field.
