LONDON - (Business Wire) Leading UK registrar of domain names and web hosting, www.LCN.com has announced last week that it has extended its current domain registration discounted prices indefinitely. The price reduction applies to all domain registrations and renewals, resulting in savings of between 20 – 48 per cent for new and existing customers.

Mark Boost, Managing Director, LCN.com, said: “Our decision to lower domain registration and renewal prices comes at a time when website owners are looking to protect their brand identity while saving costs during a difficult economic climate.”

A record number of cybersquatting cases were recorded in 2008. The recent high profile cybersquatting case of “Britain’s Got Talent” star Susan Boyle highlighted the importance of registering multiple domain extensions to protect brand identity. However, the additional costs associated with this approach can sometimes seem prohibitively expensive.

Mark Boost continued: “When cybersquatters pick up unregistered variations of a companys web address businesses are exposed to both dangerous and costly implications. LCN.com’s price reduction allows new and existing customers to protect their brand by registering multiple domain extensions at a greatly reduced cost.

“We see this price drop as a way of thanking our existing customers for their continued support and loyalty. New customers can now register their domain names at extremely competitive prices and take advantage of the benefits that all LCN.com customers receive every day.”

The price reduction will be applied to all extensions available for registration through LCN.com, including the most popular .com, .net, .org, .tel top level domain extensions.

LCN.com also offers further savings on multiple year domain registrations and renewals for customers who secure their domain name for an extended period.
