CHATSWORTH, Calif. - (Business Wire) Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc., the aerospace industry's leading provider of OEM-licensed Legacy Products, is pleased to announce a new manufacturing license with Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems of San Diego, Calif., a division of Hamilton Sundstrand. Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

Ontic has been granted the worldwide manufacturing, sales and service support requirement for the Environmental Control Unit (ECU) for the Low Altitude Navigation and Target Infra Red for Night (LANTIRN) system primarily used on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft.

The news was released by Jonathan Shiebler, Ontics Director of Business Development, who stated, Liberating resources required for the support of older product enables OEMs like Hamilton Sundstrand to focus on current and future programs. This is Ontics specialty and core business. Licensing assures customers of ongoing support for the duration of their requirements.

According to Rick Elgin, director of business development, Hamilton Sundstrand Power Systems, By transferring the manufacture and support for this product to Ontic, we can focus additional resources on our core technologies and future direction.

The products will be supported at Ontic's facility in Chatsworth, California.
