RIDGEWOOD, NJ -- 10/07/08 --
Fall remodeling projects can pay big
dividends for homeowners. Kitchen and bath makeovers are particularly good
for adding value to a home.
They are the most used rooms in the house and updating them makes any home
more comfortable. A makeover can be as simple as changing the hardware on
cupboards, or as complex as making room to add a washer and dryer.
Today's washers and dryers are quiet, energy efficient and handy to have
close at hand.
For the bathroom, there's a new walk-in tub.
Hartl hosted "New Home Lifestyles," a 30-minute magazine style show for
national builders, showcasing their developments in local markets across
the country and spent 12 years co-hosting "Hometime" with Dean Johnson,
which aired on PBS stations across the country.
Currently, she is a regular columnist for Remodeling Ideas, a quarterly
home improvement magazine and a spokesperson for Little Giant Ladder
Systems.
