JUNO will be available for purchase TODAY on the iTunes Store (
www.itunes.com) day-and-date with DVD and Blu-ray Disc (BD), which also feature Fox
’s Digital Copy option, making it the Studio
’s most widely available home entertainment release ever. Plus,
JUNO B-SIDES: ALMOST ADOPTED SONGS a follow-up release to the
JUNO soundtrack, one of the top-selling iTunes soundtracks ever, is also now available exclusively on iTunes for $9.99.
Embraced by audiences and hailed by critics across the country as the “the best picture of the year” (Roger Ebert) and “a perfect movie” (Chicago Sun Times), JUNO was nominated for four Academy Awards and won for Best Original Screenplay. Directed by Academy Award Nominee Jason Reitman (Thank You For Smoking) and featuring an all-star ensemble cast led by Best Actress Oscar Nominee Ellen Page, the JUNO DVD and BD is loaded with special features including commentary by Reitman and screenwriter Diablo Cody, 11 deleted scenes, a gag reel, screen tests and more.
Apple iTunes users will be able to purchase JUNO for $14.99 and then download the film to view on a PC or Mac, iPod with video, iPhone or with Apple TV on a widescreen TV. Additionally, consumers that purchase the Special Edition two disc DVD of JUNO or the BD disc version with Digital Copy have numerous ways to enjoy the film. They can watch the DVD or Blu-ray disc on their television screen or computer and they can also effortlessly transfer the digital version of the film to their iTunes account and view it on a computer or compatible portable video device iPod with video or iPhone just like a movie purchased from the iTunes Store.
JUNO will be available on iTunes Movie Rentals starting May 14. Apple launched iTunes Movie Rentals in January featuring movies from all of the major movie studios. Users can rent movies and watch them on their PCs or Macs, all current generation iPods, iPhone and on a widescreen TV with Apple TV. Movie rentals work on iPod classic, iPod nano with video and iPod touch.
