Carlos Garcia, who founded Scrapblog and served as CEO for the past 3 years, will transition to focus on partnerships and will continue to be an active board member. Braff, who most recently led worldwide publishing efforts including licensing, marketing and sales as SVP of global publishing at Glu Mobile, assumes her role as President and CEO effective immediately. “Since inception, Carlos and the team have built a successful company by developing a compelling product that people are passionate about,” said Braff. “I am excited to be working with the Scrapblog team on its goal of making self-expression and multimedia storytelling an easy and fun way for everyone to share the joy and prized moments in their lives with others.”
Since joining Glu Mobile in 2003, Braff’s understanding of the digital entertainment marketplace and evolving consumer behavior has helped shape the way mobile games are marketed and launched today. In 2008, Braff was named by Digital Media Wire as one of the top 25 digital entertainment executives to watch and in 2007 she was honored as one of the 40 most influential people under 40 in Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, and in 2006 Braff was named one of the game industry's 100 most influential women by Next Generation.

In addition to her gaming experience, Braff also held management positions at consumer web service companies Photopoint Corporation and Ancestry.com. She also held positions at The Learning Company, Nintendo of America and Griffin Bacal. Braff has a B.A. from Colgate University.
