SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Oracle OpenWorld --

News Facts
-- Committed to providing the most complete, comprehensive and
hot-pluggable tools for Java developers, Oracle today announced Oracle
JDeveloper 11g and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) 11g,
   components of Oracle Fusion Middleware.
-- A Java-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Oracle
JDeveloper 11g provides a unified design and development experience,
featuring advanced tooling and visual development for all Java EE 5
standards and APIs; reusability features; Oracle Platform Security
Services an integrated security services framework; and support for
   Java Persistence Architecture (JPA) development.
-- Used independently or together, the new releases of Oracle JDeveloper
and Oracle ADF enable exceptional productivity by making it easier for
developers to create and deploy Java EE 5, Web 2.0 and Asynchronous
JavaScript and XML (AJAX) Rich Internet Applications.
-- Today's announcement supports Oracle's strategy of delivering complete,
integrated and end-to-end product suites on an open, standards-based
middleware and database architecture. Oracle's approach helps customers
to simplify computing environments, lower cost and risk, and provides
   greater choice and flexibility.

Enhancing Productivity for Java Developers
Oracle JDeveloper 11g and Oracle ADF 11g provide:

-- Adaptive rendering that targets applications for both desktop and
mobile devices using pre-built rendering kits optimized for a given
  client technology.
-- Support for more than 150 AJAX-enabled, JSF 1.2-based rich client
components, allowing visualization of tabular, cubic, XML and
spatial data into multi-dimensional, interactive, portable user
