BURBANK, Calif. - (Business Wire) Up-and-coming artist Jason Reeves will hit the road with fellow singer-songwriter Tyrone Wells for a two-month tour that launches August 28 th in San Francisco. Reeves is touring in support of his major label debut album, The Magnificent Adventures of Heartache (and Other Frightening Tales), which will be released on Warner Bros. Records September 9 th. Reeves' hook-filled songs of love, hope, heartbreak, and renewal, matched with his engaging tenor voice, propelled him to the Number One position on the MySpace Folk chart (unsigned) for 9 months and made him a fixture in the Top 5 Acoustic (unsigned) and Top 20 Overall (unsigned) categories. In addition, Reeves was named one of the Top Indie Singer-Songwriters of 2007 by iTunes, which also dubbed the Magnificent Adventures one of its Top Folk Albums of 2007. After a Number Two debut on the iTunes Folk chart, the reviewer wrote: "Jason Reeves has one of those disarmingly soulful voices that makes you want to break down and cry or get married." Many fans will already be familiar with Reeves through his songwriting collaborations with breakthrough singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat.
