LONDON - (Business Wire) iomart Hosting, has secured a £200,000 ($328,000) contract from Servecentric in Ireland to provide the UK mainland Disaster Recovery facility for a large US multinational. iomart Hosting secured the three year partnership deal to augment the top tier hosting services that Servecentric, the Irish data centre managed services company, is already providing to the same customer in Dublin.
iomart Hosting, the managed hosting arm of AIM listed iomart Group plc, has been contracted to provide Servecentric with a DR solution from its fully resilient Tier 3 data centre in the City of London.
Servecentric chose iomart Hosting as its UK mainland partner based on its technical infrastructure, flexibility and existing blue chip clients and because it was able to deliver the exacting criteria required by a global company including meeting the highest levels of capacity, resilience and security.
