Internet Marketing Business Leader Folz Joins WordStream Board of Directors

BOSTON, MA -- 10/28/09 -- WordStream, Inc. (http://www.wordstream.com/), a provider of search marketing tools for continuously optimizing and expanding pay-per-click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) efforts involving large numbers of keywords, announced today that Ralph J. Folz has joined the WordStream Board of Directors.

Folz is the Global Chief Operating Officer of Isobar, one of the largest digital marketing agencies in the world with over 3,500 people in 40 different countries. It is part of London-based Aegis Media.

Folz also cofounded Molecular, a digital marketing consulting firm that designs and builds sophisticated Internet-based solutions. Folz was responsible for building Boston-based Molecular into one of the most respected digital marketing consulting firms in the United States, leading to its 2005 acquisition by Isobar.

"Ralph is a strong executive, entrepreneur and marketer. He'll be a tremendous asset in helping us grow the company," said Rob Adler, President and CEO of WordStream.

He has served as President of MITX, the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange, and sits on the executive council of TechNet New England. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University and a master's degree in software engineering from Boston University.
