Inspur Group Ranked Top 3 Among '500 Competitive Corporations in China 2008'

HONG KONG, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Inspur Group Co., Ltd ("Inspur Group"), parent company of Inspur International Limited (SEHK: 596), ranked third among the "500 Competitive Corporations in China 2008," announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the National Bureau of Statistics of the PRC in Beijing on 24 October, and was the only IT corporation ranked among the top 100.

The "500 Competitive Corporations in China 2008" is a nationwide corporation research conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics, which is divided into a capability index and structural index according to the competitive criteria of corporations. The Capability index is comprised of 47 criteria in three categories of sustainability, development and potential, while the structural index is comprised of 11 criteria in five categories of policy, strategy, incentive, management and innovation. Through a series of scientific analysis and processes, research teams of the National Bureau of Statistics finally came up with optimum ratios among all criteria, adding to the competitiveness index.
