’s network-agnostic MDM evolution strategy, as previously iMDM was the only MDM server supporting CDMA and GSM from same platform. This new support enables WiMAX operators to meet consumer expectations for broadband wireless by delivering a better, more reliable end-user experience.
As WiMAX operators begin to deploy their networks en masse, they can leverage iMDM’s proven carrier grade functionality in provisioning of WiMAX devices as subscribers sign up on the network. In fact, without the MDM provisioning module, a WiMAX provider cannot provide end-to-end services. Then as the market evolves, the WiMAX operator can utilize the platform’s rich Customer Care and Enterprise Care capabilities to provide remote device management that includes firmware and software updates.
