NEW YORK, NY -- 03/11/08 -- iWay Software, an Information Builders company and an innovator of enterprise integration solutions, today announced that it will sell more than 35 iWay adapters developed on and built for IBM WebSphere technology. This offering opens tremendous market opportunity for iWay Software and extends IBM's connectivity ecosystem offering customers additional cost-effective application integration options by delivering consistent adapter technology based on IBM's WebSphere Adapter Toolkit.

iWay Software's adapters accelerate business integration by providing a foundation for business agility with a low cost of entry and full project reusability. Simply assembled and configured off-the-shelf components allow for rapid data access and application integration without lengthy custom coding or expensive systems overhauls and allow for implementation of mission-critical applications without costly delays. iWay Software's integration adapters also open doors to a service-oriented architecture (SOA) and for Web-enabling applications.

"Information Builders and iWay Software continue to innovate and sell solutions that fill a void in the market and greatly further the business objectives of our customer base," said John Senor, president of iWay Software. "This offering will allow organizations to make IT infrastructures more agile, responsive, and resilient to business change by removing technical barriers to accessing data."

The iWay Universal Adapter Suite for IBM middleware, which initially includes 35 adapters, will enable unparalleled connectivity for industry leading applications to IBM's middleware offerings. Adapters for the following applications are included:

-- Amdocs
-- Ariba
-- Baan
-- Broadvision
-- Clarify
-- Documentum
-- i2
-- Lawson
-- Manugistics
-- MFG/PRO
-- Microsoft
-- Retek
-- Tibco
-- And more

In conjunction with this announcement, iWay Software has agreed to provide an adapter suite expressly for the IBM WebSphere 6.1 product line, including WebSphere ESB and WebSphere Process Server. The custom suite will be generally available in the first quarter of 2008.

"iWay's commitment to build and sell adapters built using IBM's WebSphere Adapter Toolkit and promoted via the SOA Business Catalog provides customers with a broad range of choices to connect their mission critical applications to WebSphere's leading middleware. Customers who leverage these solutions will be able to reuse their existing assets and enhance the connectivity and integration of their organization," said John Gordon, director of channel marketing, IBM SOA and WebSphere, IBM.
