NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Sept. 26 NJ-MillenniumBank-Ike
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Sept. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- New Millennium Bank (OTC Bulletin Board: NMNB), a leading nationwide secured credit card lender, today announced it will waive late fees, over limit fees and suspend payments due for three months to its cardholders in the regions ravaged earlier this month by Hurricane Ike.
Announcing the move, Chris Van Der Stad, President & CEO of New Millennium Bank, cited the need for financial institutions to demonstrate compassion and support for those most directly affected by the devastation in the Federally-declared major disaster areas of Texas and Louisiana.
"Those caught in the turmoil on the Gulf Coast face major challenges in the days, weeks and months ahead," Chris Van Der Stad said. "By waiving late fees, over limit fees and interest charges, we're helping our customers stay focused on the recovery and renewal process ahead." The Bank expects to continue the hurricane relief program for at least three months.
