Houston Texans' Andre Davis, Cheerleaders & TORO Show Saving Money Can Be Fun, Easy & Automatic With Wachovia

Five Winners Scored a Win With $10,000 in Cash 


HOUSTON, March 19  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Texans took the Way2Save Challenge on Sat., Mar. 15, in an event at The Galleria and scored a win with $2,000 each (*Wachovia released the names of four winners.)  In addition, some local celebrities came out to raise cash for charity.

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Davis, the Texans Cheerleaders, and TORO took on the challenge to grab dollars for charity and have some fun on a stage, stacked three-stories high with eight glass "money" machines.  The Cheerleaders and TORO competed against Davis and won $3,000 for the Houston Texans Foundation.  Davis won $2,000 for Men With Divine Purpose.

The Way2Save Challenge tested consumers' savings savvy and allowed them to unwind in the Relax and Save area, where guests received shoulder massages and learned how to find peace of mind in their financial lives.  Prizes, games, and giveaways made this a fun event for everyone and five lucky individuals won $2,000 each.

The winners below will be entered in a drawing to fly to New York City to participate in the grand finale of the Way2Save Challenge the week of June 5. The winners from the Houston event are:
