Joolwe.com is launching its first annual "Joolwe Selfless Woman Jewelry Award". The company is asking the public to submit letters telling the story of the person they feel deserves to be honored for their actions. Joolwe.com will pick the winners based on merit and give them the opportunity to select a piece of fine jewelry from a special section of the store.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 9, 2009 -- The holidays are just around the corner and one Dallas-based online jewelry store is honoring five women who touch the lives of those around them through their selfless actions. Joolwe.com online jewelry store(http://www.joolwe.com) wants to discover and recognize the hard work that some women do all year, and they are getting the public involved. The company is launching its first annual "Joolwe Selfless Woman Jewelry Award" (http://www.joolwe.com/selfless-woman-jewelry-award); the program is searching for members of the community who always put the needs of others before their own and never ask for anything in return. Joolwe.com is asking the public to submit letters telling the story of the person they feel deserves to have their Christmas wishes fulfilled. The online retailer will pick the winners based on merit and give them the opportunity to choose any piece of fine jewelry from the special reward catalog section of their store. "We understand that all of the nominees are outstanding women; but, unfortunately we can only choose the five most compelling stories. I wish we could honor all of them for all of their hard work," says Cheng.
Each year, applicants must submit their nominations by December 6 for the chance to have their nominee in the running to receive a free piece of gorgeous jewelry for Christmas. "So often, many people forget to say thank you to those that do the most for them and their communities. This giveaway creates that opportunity to show appreciation and let that special someone know that you recognize how kind they are," says Cheng. The following week, Joolwe.com will choose the winners and announce their names on the company's website. All gifts are guaranteed to be at the recipient's doorstep by Christmas Eve.
When asked why such a young company decided to launch such an altruistic initiative; company founder, Ryan Cheng says, "I think its important to celebrate those in the community who work hard all year and I think the gift of jewelry is a wonderful way to make a person feel special. Also, by asking the public to nominate someone they know, we are encouraging the community to get involved." The company is no stranger to community-based efforts; they are also launching a program called "Shop for a Cause" (http://www.joolwe.com/shop-for-a-cause-charity-donation-shopping); where a portion of the company's proceeds will be donated to participating local and national charities.
Joolwe.com is an eclectic online jewelry store that just celebrated its one year anniversary. The company is passionate about jewelry and scours the global marketplace to find exquisitely designed pieces and offer them to customers at an affordable price. Joolwe.com has a myriad of necklaces, pendants, bracelets, earrings and rings in contemporary and classic styles. The company doesn't just award free jewelry to community heroes, Joolwe.com's Jewelry Loyalty Reward Program (http://www.joolwe.com/jewelry-loyalty-reward-program) gives customers the opportunity to earn free jewelry while shopping at the store. Joolwe.com's JLR program gives members one reward point for every dollar they spend. These points are then redeemable for exclusive discounts or for the purchase of free jewelry (http://www.joolwe.com/shop-by/redeemable-jewelry) from the special reward catalog in the store. Joolwe.com is urging everyone to take part in the awards and help give someone in their community have an unforgettable Christmas.
