DALLAS - (Business Wire) This Tuesday, Dan Rather Reports will feature an in-depth look at the economic change now taking place on the island nation of Cuba. Rather and his team had extraordinary access to parts of the island rarely seen by westerners.

Cuba is very slowly developing a market economy somewhat similar to the economy in China but on a much smaller scale. Not only do Cubans make millions of dollars off tourism, they are becoming trading partners with more and more countries around the world, including the U.S.

Despite the existing trade embargo with the United States, American farmers are allowed to sell food to Cubans, and business is brisk.

In this episode, Dan Rather Reports also looks at the growing Chinese influence on the island. And, we'll hear from the next generation of Cuban-Americans. They have never set foot on the island but they have strong opinions about politics, both in Cuba and the United States.

Dan Rather Reports: Trade Winds premieres on HDNet Tuesday, March 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET with a re-air 11:00 p.m. ET to accommodate West Coast Prime Time.
