RENO, Nev. - (Business Wire) Guard Dog, Inc. (Pink Sheets:GRDO) announced today a new contract that will allow and enable billing on cellular phones.
Guard Dog, through subsidiary Guard Dog ID, LLC, believes it is one of the first, if not the first, identity theft protection providers to allow consumers the option to make payment via a cellular phone bill. The new agreement will allow billing through AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint/Embarq, etc.
Mobile billing will expand the pool of billable consumer phones to nearly 250,000,000, which is approximately 2.5 times the size of the previous available billable audience of consumers.
The company has projected anticipated yearly revenues to reach $5 million in 2009. The company believes that each additional billing method vastly increases the potential to increase revenues. The company believes that each additional billing option provided for consumers could provide for similar increases. The company recently added ACH as a billing method in addition to today’s announcement of providing cellular phone users the option of billing to their mobile phone bill.
The company is presently expanding marketing efforts to include social networks and increased Internet classified advertising in order to capitalize upon new payment options available to consumers.
