BELLINGHAM, WA -- 10/30/09 --
Golden Spirit Enterprises Ltd. (OTCBB: GSPT)
reports the company has entered into an Option Purchase Agreement with a
Utah-based Resource Company (Vendor) to acquire a 100% interest in a block
of strategically located gold mineral lease claims in east central Nevada.
These claims are all located in the heart of the newly discovered 'Long
Canyon Gold Trend' where four major companies (Fronteer Development Group
Inc., AuEx Ventures Inc., Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. and Barrick Gold
Corporation) have spent over $40 million dollars in exploration costs to
date defining near surface gold deposits with similar geology and
characteristics as the famous Carlin Gold Trend. These four companies to
date have major land positions in this new trend and have made press
releases confirming exceptional gold values in their recent extensive
drilling programs which continue to date.
The Company will be required to provide cash payments in installments and
issue shares of the Company's stock to the Vendor for entry into this
exclusive Option Purchase Agreement. Golden Spirit also will be required to
provide working capital to complete a two phase exploration program, and to
define potential drill targets on the claim block.
Through this agreement, the company will also have the first option to
acquire additional gold mineral lease properties from the Vendor in this
newly discovered Long Canyon Gold Trend area and in other gold exploration
and gold production areas of Nevada in the future.
