VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- 11/09/09 -- Gold Hawk Resources Inc. ("Gold Hawk" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: CGK) announces that Rene Galipeau has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Company.

The Company thanks Mr. Galipeau for his contributions to Gold Hawk, particularly in his role on the Audit Committee, and wishes him well in his future endeavors.

Gold Hawk does not intend to appoint any additional Directors to the Board at this time and the Board composition otherwise remains the same as voted by shareholders in June 2009: William Barnett, Gordon Bub, Jean Depatie, Kevin Drover and Michel Tardif. A majority of the Directors are independent members of the Board.
