New Company, My Hidden Legacy, Honors Surviving Loved Ones with Legacy Gifts SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 20
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- My Hidden Legacy is the only company of its kind in the nation designed to assist people in the final stages of a terminal illness or managing end-of-life issues to leave gifts after their own passing to spouses, children, family or friends in the form of personal legacies. Working outside of wills and trusts and costing thousands of dollars less than attorney's fees, a gift can be a one-time occurrence or a yearly event and can be a traditional or nontraditional gift that represents an emotional connection that the giver wishes to continue after his or her death. Roses every wedding anniversary, tickets to a golf tournament or the ballpark or a long dreamed of vacation for surviving family members are just a few examples that can be given as legacy gifts. Legacy gifts are only limited by the giver's imagination.
Founded by former Investor Relations Specialist Byron Burke in 2007, Burke realized the need for this kind of company after suffering the heartbreaking loss of beloved family members and wishing some of those family traditions could have been continued.
"My Hidden Legacy is a celebration of a wonderful life lived," said Byron Burke, founder of My Hidden Legacy. "It's a way to let a surviving loved one know they were loved that has nothing to do with money, insurance or wills. It is an outside-the-box way to give an emotional, lasting, impactful legacy gift that will be remembered forever."
Burke gives the example of legendary comedian Jack Benny, who upon learning of his imminent death, made arrangements for his wife to continue to receive a single red rose every day after his passing. She received a rose every day after his death for nine years before she passed away herself.
The nominal fees charged by My Hidden Legacy are based on the cost of the gift and begin at $50.00. The practice of "gifting" also reduces the tax liability on the giver's estate. The estate is provided with details of the agreement and date of fulfillment as desired by the giver.
My Hidden Legacy is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. For more information, contact My Hidden Legacy by calling 1-866-684-7197 or visiting http://www.MyHiddenLegacy.com.
