’s lead pipeline programs, obatoclax is an oncology treatment based on programmed cell death, or apoptosis, and has the potential to be a first-in-class pan Bcl-2 inhibitor. Obatoclax is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials for the treatment of elderly acute myeloid leukemia and the treatment of small cell lung cancer.
