DETROIT, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Detroit Economic Club (DEC) is pleased
to host The Honorable John Engler, president of the National Association of
Manufacturers on Monday, October 13, 2008. The speech will begin at 12:30 p.m.
and will be held at Cobo Center in Detroit, MI.
In a speech titled, "New Leadership for America - What Does it Mean for
U.S. Manufacturing?" Governor Engler surveys the political scene and discusses
policy changes that may dramatically affect manufacturing in the United States
-- no matter who wins the November elections. He will address the ultimate
question: How will tomorrow's leaders address the world, and prepare the
nation to meet the economic, technological and social challenges that confront
our highly interdependent world?
