Fluor Wins New Iraq Contracts From U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

IRVING, Texas - (Business Wire) Fluor Corporation (NYSE:FLR) announced today that the company was awarded three new contracts by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to provide life support services for its personnel and other clients in Iraq. The contracts are valued in total at approximately $80 million and the scopes of work for all three contracts are expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter 2010. Fluor booked the contracts into backlog in the third quarter 2009. The newly awarded contracts for life support services include billeting, office and facility services which will provide support for approximately 1,500 USACE and other personnel at multiple locations throughout Iraq. In addition, there is also a cost-plus, fixed-fee scope of work that includes vehicle and fleet maintenance and operating 12 remote vehicle maintenance facilities around Iraq.
