New Features Help Customers Quickly Deploy InSite and Efficiently Handle Ever-Changing Workforces CHICAGO, June 18
CHICAGO, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Fieldglass(R), Inc., provider of the leading unified platform for acquiring contingent workers, services and direct hires, today announced a successful customer upgrade to an enhanced version of its award-winning InSite(R) software-as-a-service product suite. Fieldglass customers realize cost- and time-savings with additional functionality to improve both the initial implementation and ongoing management of human capital acquisition programs.
New features that improve efficiencies within an organization's program office include:
-- Dynamic Organizational Structures -- A significant new capability in InSite overcomes one of the largest challenges of implementations -- gathering and validating all of the organizational structures from the myriad of sources. This new capability allows for customers to launch rapidly, striking the right balance between allowing users to self-select their organizational permissions and maintain the sanctity of an approval process to validate those permissions.
-- Enhancements to the InSite Upload API -- While InSite has long-featured an Upload API, the latest release dramatically expands the capabilities with nearly 20 new utilities. Customers can now quickly implement the solution, add new lines of business, and make mass changes to the system, such as when organizational restructuring occurs.
"InSite's new features affect both our new and existing customers -- streamlining the initial deployment process and allowing organizations to more easily accommodate growth and changes within the system," said Sean Chou, CTO, Fieldglass. "By automating more of these processes, we're able to reduce the burden on an organization's program office."
Through InSite Contingent, InSite Services and InSite Recruiter, the solution provides end-to-end functionality for the acquisition of contingent labor, service providers and employees, respectively. Additional solutions allow companies to track talent pools, such as retirees, that may be candidates for temporary positions, automate the workflow associated with the on- and off-boarding processes and allow interaction between InSite and other applications via a Web Service API.
