CAMBRIDGE, MA -- 06/11/09 --
Inbound Marketing
University (http://www.inboundmarketing.com/university) (IMU) announces
a final call for registration for its free marketing retraining program.
Registrants will benefit from a comprehensive curriculum of Internet
marketing classes taught by a faculty of marketing pros from expert
companies, free of charge. The IMU program runs June 15 to June 19 and
concludes with a certification exam on June 22, 2009.
Inbound Marketing University's program addresses the need for inexpensive
marketing training during a distressed economy. While other marketing
training programs are charging thousands of dollars per registrant for
their services, IMU offers a special, no-cost opportunity for marketing
professionals and interested parties to gain a competitive edge in the
declining job market. IMU has the capability to support 10,000 registrants
for no fee.
The IMU curriculum of 10 webinar classes (live or archived) will be taught
by a number of esteemed marketing pros who are donating their time and
expertise. IMU professors
include Chris Brogan (New Marketing Labs), Brian Carroll (InTouch), Mack
Collier (MarketingProfs), Rand Fishkin (SEOmoz), Eric Groves (Constant
Contact), Ann Handley (MarketingProfs), Jeanne Hopkins
(MarketingExperiments), Lee Odden (Top Rank Online Marketing), David
Meerman Scott (New Rules of Marketing & PR), Marshall Sponder
(Monster.com), Elyse Tager (Silicon Valley AMA) and Mike Volpe (HubSpot).
A number of IMU partners are making the free program a reality: Constant Contact, HubSpot, InTouch, MarketingExperiments, MarketingProfs, New Marketing Labs, SEOmoz, Silicon Valley AMA and Top Rank Online Marketing. ON24 is donating all webcasting
capabilities.
"Due to the economy and the call for new skills necessitated by Web 2.0,
professionals are seeking low-cost training opportunities to get ahead in
the workforce and the waning job market," said Brian Halligan, HubSpot CEO
and co-founder. "You'd be hard-pressed to find a program employing the
high caliber of marketing professors that IMU does, and it'd be even more
difficult to find one that is free of charge, as IMU is."
