SAN MATEO, Calif. - (Business Wire) EPIC (Edgewood Partners Insurance Center), a retail property, casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage, has appointed Kenyon C. Hall as principal. A Georgia native, Hall will be based in Atlanta, where he has lived and worked throughout his career. For the past 10 years, Hall has specialized in the design, placement and management of complex property insurance programs for companies facing catastrophic exposures. These companies include clients in the real estate, retail, manufacturing and construction industries.

In his new role as vice president and principal of property broking at EPIC, Hall will work closely with the company’s brokers and their account management teams across the company to identify, mitigate and manage property related risk for current clients. He will also focus on acquiring new customers who need creative, cost-effective property insurance solutions.

“Kenyon’s addition further strengthens our risk management consulting and property insurance placement capabilities,” said EPIC co-founder, Dan Francis. “He has built an outstanding reputation in our business and is highly valued by companies for his expertise, innovation and ability to drive results. We are absolutely delighted to have another top professional of Kenyon’s caliber become a part of our growing team.”

Prior to joining EPIC, Hall spent 10 years with broker Willis and HRH – a national broker acquired by Willis Group Holdings in 2008. With this company, he most recently served as senior placement broker and south central region property manager in Atlanta, GA. Hall began his career at Hobbs Group Insurance Brokers in Atlanta, after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance at the University of Georgia.

“For me, the move to EPIC was driven by getting back to the roots of the brokerage business – which centers on serving clients and having the freedom and flexibility to do whatever it takes to produce results and add real value,” states Hall. “EPIC’s rapid growth and the amazing team they have built is testimony to the fact that clients and insurance professionals alike are looking for a real alternative to a ‘business as usual’ approach to insurance broking. EPIC is doing something new and different and I just had to be a part of it.”
