NEW YORK - (Business Wire) Bideawee is holding its largest fundraiser of the year, Bideawee Ball: For the Love of Pets. This fundraising event will be held on May 6, 2008 at Espace in the Atelier Building in Manhattan. Hosts for the evening are Emmy award winning actress Susan Lucci and CBS weatherman and feature reporter Dave Price. The Ball will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:30 pm, dinner at 7:30 pm, followed by an award presentation honoring animal advocates and dancing to the music of Alex Donners Orchestra. This year your canine companion can join you for this glamorous night as well. The Ball will raise funds to benefit Bideawee and its mission to promote healthy, loving, long-term relationships between people and pets.

Honorees:

Dr. Lewis Berman, Veterinarian and founder of Park East Animal Hospital and one of the country's best known and respected animal practitioners. Presenter to Dr. Berman is Caroline Kennedy

Kathy Freston, animal lover, bestselling author, personal growth and spiritual counselor. Presenter to Kathy Freston is actress Maeve Quinlan

Other celebrities attending include: Gilligans Island actress Tina Louise, celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito, celebrity columnist Cindy Adams, One Life to Live actress Robin Strasser, As the World Turns actress Eileen Fulton, Sex and the City actress Frances Sternhagen and many more.
