® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its EMCOR Group (UK) subsidiary will expand the facilities services it currently provides NATS, the UK
’s leading air traffic control services company.
EMCOR Group (UK) will further assist NATS in enabling them to focus on its core business and ensuring that its facilities management strategy meets its wider, long-term business and strategic objectives by expanding its service scope to include a broad range of soft services and general maintenance duties at NATS’ key locations (its London office, Hampshire headquarters, control centers in Swanwick and Prestwick, and its College of Air Traffic Control at Hurn) where EMCOR will be now be performing comprehensive facilities management services. The expanded scope of duties under the new contract includes cleaning, reception, portering duties, post room, and help desk services; and grounds maintenance. These new services are in addition to the work EMCOR has provided NATS over the last four years, including managing critical systems that support the company’s air traffic control and business operations, such as building and infrastructure maintenance; asset management; specialist engineering, including security, CCTV, fire protection, and high voltage systems.
