LOS ANGELES, CA -- 11/19/08 --
On November 20, 2008, EM & Co will host the
only Los Angeles area preview of Vivienne Westwood's "Anglomania" Spring
'09 Collection, with a special Designer Showcase & Trunk Show. The wedding
gown worn by Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, in the "Sex
and the City" movie will be featured during the event, as well as the
latest work of L.A. celebrity painter, Biagio Black, a commissioned
portrait of the fashion icon herself, Vivienne Westwood.
The "Carrie" wedding gown, part of the Vivienne Westwood 'Gold Label'
Couture collection, will be housed at EM & Co November 13 through November
21. Only a limited number of replicas of this gown will ever be created,
and a representative from Vivienne Westwood will be available to take
guests' measurements for special custom orders of the gown during the
event.
DJ Jasepi will spin his fashionable tunes while models showcase select
styles from the Spring '09 Collection. The November 20 invitation-only
event will be attended by an exclusive group of maximum 200 guests, which
include celebrity stylists, film industry executives, VIP customers, and
celebrities. During the event, guests will be able to pre-order pieces from
the spring/summer '09 collection at preferred pricing.
EM & Co continues the Vivienne Westwood celebration through the end of
November, by offering its customers a discount on the current fall '08
collection. "We want to share our appreciation for Vivienne Westwood with
our customers and hope they will appreciate the timelessness of her
pieces," says EM & Co owner, Eveline Morel.
The Trunk Show event on November 20, sponsored in part by Modern Luxury's
Angeleno Magazine, will feature an Absinthe Bar from Mata Hari Absinthe
Bohemian, Vodka cocktails from Marani Premium Vodka, and appetizers from
Tasca Wine Bar.

ABOUT Vivienne Westwood:
Vivienne Westwood is both iconoclast and global icon. In the 1970s, she
electrified the world with the launch of punk fashion and went on to become
one of the most inventive and influential designers of our time. Known best
for her willingness to take risks and to disregard conventions, she also
has a profound respect for the past and such elements as corsets and
crinolines, which she reinvents in new ways. A major influence on fashion
design, her career has ranged from street wear and haute couture to
ready-to-wear; from outfits that she designed in the 1970s for the Sex
Pistols, the corsetry and ball gowns of the 1980s and 1990s, and the
innovative pattern cutting of the most recent years. More information about
