After graduating from Seton Hall University School of Law, Mr. Guzman began his career in New York. As an Assistant District Attorney for Bronx County, he was responsible for the prosecution of violent felony offenders. Mr. Guzman moved to Florida in 1997. He served as the Lead Trial Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney in Hillsborough County before shifting his focus to civil litigation. Since 2001, he has specialized in the defense of medical malpractice claims made against physicians and healthcare providers both in Florida and New York.
