Dots newly redesigned Web site, email marketing, social networks, interactive downloads and mobile marketing extend Dots' "Fashion Party" experience to online. With an every day low price and fashion focused message; the strategy demonstrates the company's fashion expertise in the retail marketplace.
The best kept secret among trend savvy, price conscious women, Dots.com hosts an online Fashion Party incorporating interactive features. The community-based "Lookbook" enables Dots customers to pre-shop Dots fashions and add them to their virtual closet. Inside their closet, they can create head-to-toe looks, complete with accessories and shoes. From there, the Dots customer can express her unique sense of fashion with her friends.
The Dots fashion community offers customers an enhanced shopping experience through a social networking platform using the latest Web 2.0 technology with an application designed exclusively for Facebook. The Facebook Lookbook application allows shoppers to share their personal sense of style on their Facebook page.
"The launch of the new Dots.com is an exciting opportunity to connect with our fashion conscious, trend savvy customers," said Rick Bunka, Dots president.
"Xylem's brings a uniquely creative team and extensive digital experience that supplements our rebranding initiatives by taking our tech savvy digital consumer to a new and improved online experience. This is a great new tool to help push in-store sales with a fully integrated digital strategy," said Bunka.
"We're very excited to have been chosen by Dots to partner with them on their rebranding efforts beginning with this new Web site," says Scott Snyder, CEO, Xylem. "Dots has really embraced an aggressive and integrated solution to increase brand value with their core customers while providing an exciting introduction to their "great fashion -- great price" philosophy to a whole new audience. The new Web site generates a lot of energy at fulfilling that promise."
