Donna Lanier Named HVACR Woman of the Year

"Receiving this award has given me the opportunity to share my story with others with the hope that they will be inspired to never give up on achieving their dream," said Donna Lanier, owner of All Seasons One Hour of Huntsville. "I recognize that if not for all the influences in my life, past and present, this award would have not been possible. For them, I am grateful."

Lanier began her career after high school as a bookkeeper for an oil distributor in the Huntsville area. Lanier's hard work paid off when her manager gave her the opportunity to purchase a Huntsville area Chevron station. Lanier later sold that business and accepted a position as district supervisor with Chevron corporate. She then took time away from the corporate world to stay home with her children for a time, and then accepted the position of general manager of All Seasons One Hour, which she later purchased. While operating her service station, she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Human Resource Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1989. Receiving her Master's Degree would allow her to teach business courses at the college level as a platform to share her experience with others that may be interested in pursuing degrees.
