today that Deborah Luxenberg has been selected by a group of her peers, for
inclusion in the 2010 Edition of Best Lawyers in America, in the area of
family law. The annual rating and referral guide is published by Best

Ms. Luxenberg has represented families across the Metropolitan DC region
for more than 30 years, and has remained intensely committed to clients and
their children. Since the start of her career she has worked on the
development and reform of family law. She is highly trained and
experienced in collaborative law, mediation, alternative dispute
resolution, negotiation and litigation. Ms. Luxenberg is a tireless

Council of Court Excellence (DC). She is the immediate past chair of the
Council's Committee for Children and the Courts. Her past positions also
include being President, Vice President and Secretary of the local chapter
of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Chair of the Domestic
Relations Committee of the Bar Association of DC, and Chair of the Family
Section of the DC Bar.
