MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- 06/03/08 -- Data Robotics, the makers of Drobo, the world's first storage robot, today announced a record 100 percent quarter-over-quarter growth for their global partner channel program. Recent additions to the channel program, as well as long-time partners, have extended Data Robotics' reach to more than 750 channel partners in over 25 countries worldwide.

Drobo Partner Advantage (DPA) is part of the company's strategic goal to support the increasing sales momentum of Data Robotics products by enabling partners to increase sales, while building a competitive advantage in the market by specifying and selling Drobo and DroboShare. Through its password protected portal, the DPA delivers significant benefits for value added resellers (VARs) including deal registration, marketing messaging, sales tools, competitive information and training materials. Data Robotics' channel program for Drobo & DroboShare is ideal for companies that have experience selling storage products to a variety of markets and are actively seeking to expand and complement their current storage portfolio.

"Data Robotics acknowledges the significant role that our partners have played in our success," said Jillian Mansolf, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Data Robotics. "Since the launch of Drobo, we have received an overwhelming response from partners seeking our award-winning storage solutions. We expect this trend to continue and are proud to have such a comprehensive channel program in place to support our partners on a worldwide basis."

"The DPA has been a tremendous resource for our sales organization," said Steve Glatt, Senior Marketing manager at PC Mall. "It has opened new opportunities for our business to deliver intuitive and automated storage products to our customers. The program gives us access to the tools, information and resources we need to successfully use, sell, deploy, and support Data Robotics' products and services."

Additionally Data Robotics has teamed up with Western Digital (NYSE: WDC), one of the storage industry's pioneers and long-time leaders in developing and manufacturing products for distributors and retailers such as Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN), Office Depot (NYSE: ODP) and Target (NYSE: TGT). The partnership will allow Data Robotics to provide bundled storage packages that offer Western Digital's award winning Green Power Disk Drives; for a limited time, customers throughout the U.S. can receive up to a $528 savings on the purchase a 2TB Drobo for $749* and 4TB Drobo for $1,075*.
