NASHUA, NH -- 10/28/08 --
Daniel Webster College today announced a new
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Technology and Innovation
Leadership. This dynamic new degree program will prepare students to lead
in today's ever-evolving and highly competitive business environment
through specialized instruction in areas such as e-business, economics of
technological change, and technological innovation strategy.
With advancements in technology and increased globalization, the pace at
which new product and process technology is generated throughout the world
has advanced exponentially, creating new markets and rapidly changing
sources of competition. Shorter product lifecycles, rapid innovation, and
constant competitive pressures are creating new challenges for leaders and
professionals and Daniel Webster is meeting a critical need by delivering
this new MBA with a specialization in Technology and Innovation Leadership.
"We developed the MBA in Technology and Innovation Leadership to fill a
need within the local and regional business community for leaders who can
quickly and efficiently adapt to changes and perform under the pressures of
today's competitive business climate," said Skip Myers, president, Daniel
Webster College. "We listened to the concerns of industry leaders and
responded with a new advanced degree program which will equip their next
generation of executives with the skills to excel."
The MBA in Technology and Innovation Leadership curriculum will comprise a
proven core of management courses plus five new courses, including
Economics of Technological Change, e-Business and Entrepreneurship,
Technological Innovation Management and Strategies, New Product Design and
Development, and Advanced Human Resource Management. The program is the
newest addition to the portfolio of specialized MBA degrees offered by the
College's School of Business, Management and Professional Studies.
Daniel Webster College is now enrolling students for the inaugural cohort
of the new MBA in Technology and Innovation Leadership, which will begin in
spring 2009.
