DALLAS, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On December 11th, the Dallas Regional Chamber's International Business Council (IBC) will honor the winners of the 14th Annual International Business Achievement Awards at The Fairmont Dallas (1717 N. Akard Street Dallas, TX 75201).

Companies were selected as recipients and finalists due to global successes and outstanding civic involvement contributing to economic growth of the North Texas region and raising the area's international profile. A video presentation will highlight each award recipient, and the six small to mid-size company finalists, and their international business accomplishments.
The winner of the small-mid size category CEO will join Alan Boeckmann of Fluor Corporation and Lucy Billingsley of The Chiapas Project in a fire-side chat moderated by David Johnson, business analyst for CBS News. The discussion will focus on the region's position in the global market, how these companies are contributing to the economic success of Dallas/Fort Worth, and their stories of struggles and successes in today's rapidly changing economic and political landscape.
An International Expo accompanies the luncheon to showcase the services and expertise of local international companies and organizations.

This year's International Business Achievement Awards are presented by Citi. The event is open to the general public; the cost to attend is $85 for Chamber Members, and $125 for general admission. Other sponsorship opportunities are available, including exhibit and luncheon tables.
