Cyber-Ark Software today announced that Enterprise Password Vault
™ (EPV) has been named the winner of Network World magazine's first ever "Clear Choice Test" for Privileged Account Management (PAM) products. This recognition further validates Cyber-Ark as the leading provider of Privileged Identity Management (PIM) solutions and affirms their record year of 70 percent revenue growth and a customer base exceeding 400 enterprises.
In the April 28, 2008, Network World review titled, “New Tools Control Access by Privileged Users,” authors Tom Henderson and Rand Dvorak noted, “Enterprise Password Vault (EPV) stunned us with the breadth of server operating systems devices and application for which it can supply privileged password system support.”
The results of the magazine’s first head-to-head comparison of the industry’s leading Privileged Account Management solutions tested Cyber-Ark’s Enterprise Password Vault, Symark’s PowerKeeper, e-DMZ Security’s Password Repository and Quest's Privilege Manager (QPM) for Unix. For the test, Network World defined Privileged Account Management as the ability to provide controlled privileged access for IT administrators and power users.

Additionally, Network World awarded EPV with top marks for its rapid integration with directory services and applications, and its deep and extensive high and wide compatibility with a wide range of target systems, devices and applications.
