SANTA CLARA, Calif. - (Business Wire) The CTO Forum and its two special workgroups, The CIO Council and The Energy Council, today announced the formation of the CTO Institute, the first of its kind. The CTO Forum, Inc. has forged a partnership with Stanford University’s industry interactive technology research network (MediaX) to create this ground-breaking CTO Institute. The CTO Institute will expand the breadth of the existing programs offered at Stanford University in Wallenberg Hall. Starting in September 2009, The CTO Forum and MediaX at Stanford University will be offering exciting CTO and CIO leadership courses providing a foundation to strengthen executive skills in the areas of Innovation, Research & Development, Emerging Science & Technology and Business Growth in general. “CTO Forum Board and members have driven the formation of the CTO Institute to provide unparallel opportunities for current and future generations of technology and innovation leaders.
