SAN DIEGO & ALEXANDRIA, Va. - (Business Wire) Covario Inc., (formerly SEMDirector, Inc.), today announced that it has donated its software, Covario Organic Search Insight and related services to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to help the organization in its mission of preventing child abduction, finding missing children, and preventing child sexual exploitation. Covario, the leader in interactive marketing analytics, will help to make NCMECs resources more accessible by increasing visibility of the organizations Web site, www.missingkids.com on U.S. search engines such as, AOL, Google, MSN and Yahoo!

Internet usage has moved beyond e-mail and e-commerce to support human interests and make information easier to find. Securing key positions on search engine results pages is more challenging today as the search engines expand result sets to include images, video and other media types so each priority position has more competition, explained Russ Mann, chief executive officer of Covario. We believe this is a significant opportunity for NCMEC to extend its reach on the Internet and deliver critical information that may help in the recovery of a missing child. There is no search more important than the search for a missing child and Covario is proud to assist the National Center of Missing & Exploited Children in its efforts.

Serving as the national clearinghouse for information and resources about missing and exploited children, the NCMEC Web site, www.missingkids.com, receives more than 125,800 visits per day. The site includes images and details of missing children, child safety educational materials for families, resources for the media and supporting materials for law enforcement officials. The use of Covario Organic Search Insight will help the organization increase online awareness of its mission and ensure that the Web site and relevant information and resources are listed on Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) for critical keywords such as missing kids, amber alert, child safety, child abduction, child locator center and cybertipline.

Our Web site and the Internet in general, are critical components in our fight to help keep children safe and to help identify, rescue and reunite missing children with their loved ones, said Steven Gelfound, IT director at NCMEC. By working with Covario to help extend the National Centers presence across the Internet, we hope to increase the chances that someone will recognize a missing child and provide the information that helps bring them home.

Covarios Organic Search Insight Software as a Service (Saas) technology helps organizations automate compliance with SEO best practices to increase visibility on search engines for targeted search terms.
