OREM, Utah - (Business Wire) Utah-based PilmerPR today announced its acceptance of the 15th Annual Communicator Awards gold award of excellence in the public relations new product launch category. The Communicator Awards is one of the largest awards of its kind in the world with over 7,500 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes.

The program’s judges recognized PilmerPR among communications giants such as Weber Shandwick, Whirlpool, Aetna, Capital One, and Hyundai in receiving print division awards. Despite the thousands of awards submissions, PilmerPR was the only Utah public relations firm so recognized.

“The quality, creativity and execution of this year’s work is a true testament to the talents and abilities of communications professionals from around the world,” said Linda Day, director of the International Academy of the Visual Arts, which comprises Communicator Awards judges.

PilmerPR received the new product launch award for its outstanding work related to the launch of new products from a Nevada-based renewable energy corporation, ElectraTherm. The ElectraTherm Green Machine is the world's first commercially viable waste heat generator, creating fuel-free, emissions-free power by capturing readily available waste heat.

Earlier this year, PR News also recognized PilmerPR’s expertise for the firm’s work in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In addition to being honored with the recent awards, PilmerPR also added two successful energy related companies as clients. US Synthetic and Tasco Engineering contracted PilmerPR based on the firm’s extensive experience with CSR, clean technology, and green PR.

US Synthetic is the industry leader in the development and production of polycrystalline diamond cutters (PDCs) for oil and gas exploration. PilmerPR assists US Synthetic by improving their customers’ awareness of the benefits of their diamond-enhanced products.

Tasco Engineering Inc. (Tasco) is a high-technology engineering firm with specialized experience in electrical and wind power generation, utility engineering concept designs. PilmerPR assists Tasco with wind power and clean energy education initiatives.
