Red Robin Gourmet Burgers to present donation through special check presentation GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., May 12
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., May 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Red Robin
Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (Red Robin) together with Colorado law enforcement
personnel, raised a record-breaking $76,770 for Special Olympics Colorado
during its fourth time hosting the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser, surpassing its
$65,000 goal. Tip-A-Cop is part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run(R)
Campaign (LETR). LETR, which includes an international series of torch runs
and special events like Tip-A-Cop, is presented by more than 85,000 law
enforcement officers worldwide to raise money and public awareness for Special
Olympics.
During the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, law enforcement
personnel across the state along with local Special Olympics athletes
collected tips from restaurant guests to be used for the continued development
of Special Olympics training and competition programs throughout Colorado.

Robin and law enforcement personnel statewide for hosting such a successful
event," said Mindy Watrous, president and chief executive officer of Special
Olympics Colorado. "The money raised will help us continue to provide
high-quality programming at no cost for more than 8,500 athletes across
Colorado."

Red Robin delivered the $76,770 check to Special Olympics Colorado during
a special presentation held on Wednesday, April 30 at the Arapahoe Red
Robin(R) restaurant. In addition to raising funds for Special Olympics
Colorado, Red Robin(R) restaurants participated in Tip-A-Cop events throughout
Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Oregon and Washington as well. Overall, Red Robin
raised a grand total of $315,294 through Tip-A-Cop events to benefit each
Special Olympics chapter in their respective states.
