MEDIA, Pa. - (Business Wire) A local landmark, “The Little Inn” has a new name and look, paired with menu selections that feature both long-time classics and contemporary tastes that are sure to please the most diverse crowd. Owners and brothers Lazaros Karasavas and Mihales Karasavas proudly unveil “Generations.”

Generations opens its doors on Wednesday, November 26 at 11 a.m. Combining the classic comfort of the original restaurant’s 31-year history with the contemporary elegance of today’s savvy food aficionado, Generations can feed the cravings of their long-time regulars with popular American style, and entice a new following with changing modern menu selections.

James Distel, executive chef, makes his return to the Philadelphia area and brings to Generations the experience of creating innovative gourmet fare. He most recently served as the executive chef for Hidden Meadow Ranch in Arizona, where he created all recipes and menus for this luxury guest ranch.

His impressive career includes the founding and executive chef of Unique Treats in Drexel Hill, a prominent catering company, chef at Charlie’s Place, Bala Cynwyd, Green Valley Inn, Philadelphia, and Caesar’s Casino and Prima Pasta in Atlantic City. Distel is a graduate of Philadelphia’s The Restaurant School and has received much acclaim throughout his career including being named one of the top chefs in Pennsylvania by Pennsylvania Wine and Spirit. He also received the United States Air Force Homeland Security Medal for lending his culinary skills to a nationwide benefit for emergency personnel.

Generations provides a stylish atmosphere and ambiance for many occasions. The entrance features a warm and comfortable waiting area lounge “The Study.” Make lasting memories or great first impressions in the main dining room “The Library.” Gather with friends, family, or business associates in the “Atrium” with seating for 18, or a smaller party of 10 -12 in the “Chamber.” If a grand occasion is on the schedule, enter our second dining area “The State Room,” accommodating up to 50, or The Banquet Room, which comfortably seats 100+.

Generations also features “The Drawing Room,” a picturesque tavern and game room to unwind, enjoy happy hour with friends and family, or watch the game. Catch lively night scene entertainment from renowned performers; watch the website calendar for acts of interest. Whether you stay for dinner or just a drink this is truly a must-stop destination in Media. The array of domestic and imported beer as well as the exemplary selection of wine and featured drinks caters to quench every taste.

The owners have continued the establishment’s history and tradition of excellence as they transition to “Generations,” from the décor to the menu to the service. “Generations in its very name will provide something for everyone from young singles, to growing families, to busy business associates, to our neighborhood regulars,” said Lazaros. “Hospitality is our passion and the restaurant business is in our blood … it is why we are providing an inviting new experience that compels you to visit and continue to return to discover what is new,” added Mihales.
