LAS VEGAS - (Business Wire) Chase – Nevada’s new 200-year-old bank – today unveiled its bright blue octagon logo and trusted name on 39 bank branches and 108 ATMs in Nevada, reaching more than 750,000 consumers and businesses formerly served by WaMu.

“Chase’s nearly 500 branch and support employees in Nevada are focused on helping families manage their money and achieve their financial goals,” said Pablo Sanchez, head of Chase’s bank branches in the Western region.

“Customers in Nevada have turned to Chase for credit cards and mortgages, and now they will get to know us as the bank in their neighborhood,” Sanchez said. “We will expand our services to customers by continuing to invest in our employees, our products, our branches and our communities. We work hard to support our neighbors and our neighborhoods.”

Nevada’s customers shifted to Chase’s computer systems as part of last month’s four-state conversion of 11.6 million accounts with $63.6 billion in deposits and 1.2 million loans with $62 billion in balances. It was the last of three conversions to bring all former WaMu branches onto Chase’s computer systems – and under the Chase brand.

Now, customers can conduct their banking at any of 5,126 Chase branches and 15,000 Chase ATMs in 23 states. Branch bankers can help customers with checking accounts and debit cards, credit cards, home loans, investments, and small business banking.

JPMorgan Chase acquired the banking operations of Washington Mutual from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in September, 2008.
