HONOLULU, May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Chaminade University of Honolulu ( www.chaminade.edu ) is increasing its visibility and reaching out to students around the world via high-quality Internet video. Working with EMI Network, a multimedia marketing company in Cincinnati, Ohio, Chaminade has deployed a Digitorial(R) College Tour video library on its Web site. The video library will also appear with the university's listing on USNews.com, the Web site of U.S. News & World Report.
Using EMI Network's ( www.eminetwork.com ) Digitorial(R) Video player technology, Chaminade will be able to share its videos with viewers throughout the world with a high-quality online experience, including library browsing functions. The deployment features an easy to navigate 15-clip video library and video sharing features including e-mail and an Internet-video-first SMS text feature, allowing viewers to send a selected video to a mobile device via SMS text. "We are excited to work with Chaminade and we are confident that our product will allow Chaminade to share its unique heritage with prospective students from the mainland and elsewhere throughout the world," says Dan Magarian, president and CEO of EMI Network.
"EMI Network made it very easy for us to leverage this technology for our recruiting and outreach," says Julia Myers, e-commerce specialist at Chaminade. "The Digitorial Video Player's distribution options, such as e-mail and SMS texting, will enable us to reach prospective students in new and exciting ways. Having a high-quality video tour on our site and at USNews.com is also an environmentally responsible alternative to actual travel, which is on everyone's mind these days. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product. And we look forward to the additional exposure USNews.com will generate."
In addition to developing the Digitorial Video Player and its video library applications, EMI Network also offers colleges, universities and businesses video production services, including script writing, on-location videography, editing, post production and online distribution.
