Hospitality Leader Extends Service Agreements with Public Benefit Organizations STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 3

STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the hospitality partner to North America's premier convention centers and sports venues, announced today it has signed multi-year contract renewals with the Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) and the Los Angeles Zoo. With the new agreements in place, Centerplate will continue to provide custom hospitality solutions for ORDA, the site of the 1980 Winter Olympics and a Centerplate partner for over 25 years, and the Los Angeles Zoo, a joint venture with Service System Associates for 12 years. Centerplate operates a range of hospitality solutions from concession stands to black-tie banquets for both civically owned organizations.

Centerplate's work for each client encompasses a broad area of expertise and highlights the firm's ability to service the complete range of concessions and catering assignments. For ORDA, a leading winter sports destination including the lodges of Whiteface and Gore Mountain, Centerplate has demonstrated its multi-purpose venue expertise by managing all of the upstate New York organization's diverse facilities, providing everything from ski lodge après-ski refreshments to five star dinners for hundreds of VIPs. As a hospitality leader, Centerplate serves over 1.5 million visitors to the Los Angeles Zoo each year. As a part of the new contract, Centerplate will provide extensive facility renovations to improve guest experience, including contributions to the much-anticipated Pachyderm Forest opening summer 2010.

"We are pleased to announce these latest contract renewals and look forward to providing our partners at the Olympic Regional Development Authority and the Los Angeles Zoo with the unparalleled service experience they expect from Centerplate," said Des Hague, president and CEO of Centerplate. "One of the keys to our success is executing a range of extraordinary guest experiences, from VIP galas at the Gore Ski Lodge to ice cream at the Gorilla Grill."

Servicing convention centers and sports stadiums and arenas across North America in such major market areas as New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, Orlando, Miami, Vancouver, Raleigh and Seattle, Centerplate regularly provides high-quality dining experiences at marquee events of all sizes. Most recently, the company has unveiled 100 percent biodegradable foodservice solutions at both the Dallas Convention Center and the Orange County Convention Center, dramatically reducing the environmental impact of two of North America's busiest convention centers.
