VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- 11/02/09 -- Cantronic Systems Inc., ("Cantronic" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: CTS) is pleased to announce new sales orders for 21 units of its state-of-the-art FeverScan M3000D dual vision thermal imaging camera system for swine (H1N1) flu screening from customers in Mexico, Vietnam, and the UAE. Cantronic is also pleased to formally launch our latest version of flu screening camera, the FeverScan M3000L with an initial order of 7 units from a customer in Asia. All above orders were received during the month of October 2009. The continuing demand for these thermal scanners is a direct result of Cantronic's recent success in providing thermal imaging fever scanners to airports around the world in their effort to combat the possible spread of the swine (H1N1) flu. Cantronic has now provided these thermal scanners to countries in North America, Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia for installations in airports, major hotels and resorts and other public spaces. These sales bring the year-to-date total to over 110 units with expected revenue contribution in excess of $3 million in 2009.

Specially designed for fever screening of smaller public areas such as schools, hospitals, buildings, factory entrances, hotel and resorts etc., the FeverScan M3000L system is a light, smaller, and portable version of our popular FeverScan M3000D which was specially designed for large public areas such as airports, border crossing and railway stations. The FeverScan M3000L keeps most of the popular features of M3000D such as dual vision imaging camera system and versatile user interface while eliminating the heavy duty control cabinet and associated accessories. The FeverScan thermal scanner system works by reading the facial temperature of people within its view. It is a non-invasive mass screening tool that health officials can use to single out people who need closer examination. Individuals with elevated body temperatures above a predefined value, such as in the case of a fever, can be visually identified and then further assessed by health personnel.

Fever scanning systems were first implemented for use at airports during the 2003 SARS outbreak, and demand for this type of thermal screening has increased significantly during the current swine (H1N1) flu pandemic.

"With the US recently declaring swine (H1N1) flu as a national emergency and with the world entering the flu season, the fight against swine (H1N1) flu is now entering a stage where small public areas are to be screened and entrances protected as supposed to screening of large public areas such as airports, border crossing and railway stations, "commented James Zahn, Cantronic's President and CEO. "Based on our continued success in providing thermal scanners for fever detection, and more countries actively seeking to protect their people during the current swine (H1N1) flu pandemic, we are pleased to release our M3000L flu detection camera as an additional tool to assist governments and businesses to contain fast spreading infectious disease. These sales further strengthen Cantronic's revenue growth."
