Dennis Frohlich, creator of The Ulcerative Colitis Vlog, to blog about his journey from ulcerative colitis to an ileostomy to a J-pouch.
(PRWEB) November 23, 2009 -- C3Life.com℠, a community website for people with ostomies, their caregivers, and loved ones is now featuring a new blogger: Dennis Frohlich, creator of the video education website The Ulcerative Colitis Vlog. Frohlich is not only writing a blog for C3Life.com, but also has contributed a personal story and several videos from his vlog to the site.
Frohlich was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at the age of 21 and had his colon removed. He lived with an ileostomy and now has a fully-functioning J-pouch. In his C3Life.com blog and in his story, Frohlich reflects on how his journey has changed his life and changed his thinking. And his videos document some of his ideas regarding the practical aspects of living life with an ostomy.
“While incurable disease is never fun to go through, and surgeries change your life forever, I have found that this journey has been very enlightening,” said Frohlich. “In fact, I'm happy to have experienced so much in such a short amount of time, for it has broadened my view of the world and shown me things I never imagined existed. I’m so glad I can be a resource for others who are on a similar path.”
“We are honored to have Dennis contribute content to our website,” said Lisa Peterson, Manager of the C3Life website and community. “Our members will relate to the experiences he describes in his story and in his weekly blog postings. They also will find his videos extremely interesting and helpful.”
